My Story
Hi, I’m Cailey —
the hands behind Ensō Clay. I create pieces shaped from the earth, inspired by its elements, and made to be used and enjoyed in daily life.
I grew up on the East Coast, but have called Colorado home for the past ten years. Living here has deepened my connection to the outdoors in ways that continue to shape both my life and my work.
I signed up for a pottery class on a whim, and from that first session at the wheel, I was captivated. Clay offered me grounding, presence, and creative flow — and it’s continued to teach me to embrace process over perfection. I’m constantly learning to trust the making more than the outcome - shaping the clay while the clay shapes me.
The name comes from the ensō, a zen circle that symbolizes flow, presence, and the ever-changing nature of things. For me, it’s a reminder that beauty lives in imperfection and in the process itself — a lesson that pottery reinforces every day.
This little business has grown with the encouragement of friends and community, and I’m so grateful you’ve found your way here. Your support truly means the world to me, and it’s an honor to share this work with you.
